Why the final quote can differ
The starting price covers a standard scope. These are the usual reasons a project lands above it.
Page count and content.
A five-page site with supplied copy is a different project from a twelve-page site with content workshops. The starting price covers a standard business site, not an open-ended content build.
Integrations and data.
Booking systems, CRMs, ERPs, payment rules, inventory feeds and migrations all add engineering. They are quoted after the discovery call, not guessed at.
Catalogue and checkout complexity.
Large product catalogues, complex shipping rules, wholesale pricing and multi-region tax are scoped individually on both Shopify and Medusa.
Compliance and security.
Health, legal or financial data can require additional controls, audit logging and review. That work is quoted explicitly rather than quietly skipped.

The starting prices are fixed for the scope described on each service page. A final quote follows discovery and is fixed against a written scope. Larger catalogues, complex integrations and unusual requirements are quoted individually.
Hosting, TLS, backups, uptime monitoring, dependency and security updates, and a monthly change allowance. Business Care is $59/month, Store Care is $99–$149/month, and Custom Care starts at $99/month.
No. The site is handed over with credentials and works without one. You are responsible for updates and backups if you decline.
For larger projects, yes — phased delivery is normal. Each phase is priced separately and has independent value, so you can stop at a milestone.
DaltSync does not add transaction fees. Shopify charges its own platform and payment fees; Medusa uses Stripe, whose fees apply. Those are third-party costs, not DaltSync fees.
Prices are in AUD. GST is included where applicable. Registered businesses should confirm the treatment with their accountant.
