Website upgrades for Adelaide businesses stuck with a slow site
You don't always need a new website. Sometimes the site you have is fine structurally — it is just slow, insecure, hard to update, or looks like it was built in 2016. Ripping it out and starting again is often the wrong call, and always the more expensive one.
You know the site is holding you back
You do not need a new site to fix most of this. You need someone to look properly and prioritise.
- The homepage takes more than three seconds to load
- You cannot remember the last time you changed anything
- It looks wrong on a phone
- Nobody has touched the plugins in two years
- You are paying for hosting but have no idea what it includes
- The design does not match the business anymore
- You have been told it “cannot be fixed” by someone who wanted to sell you a new one
A written audit before a single fix
You get a document with prioritised recommendations and a fixed quote. Even if you do not proceed, you will know exactly what is wrong with your site.

The honest decision
We will tell you which side you are on. Sometimes the answer is “this needs a rebuild”, and we will quote for a business website instead.
| Keep and upgrade | Rebuild |
|---|---|
| Content is accurate and well-written | Content is outdated or thin |
| URL structure is sensible | URLs are chaotic or have no logic |
| The platform is maintained | The platform is abandoned or unsupported |
| Design is dated but functional | The structure cannot support how the business has changed |
| Under ~30 pages | Substantially more pages or a new service model |
A fixed price after the audit
From $750. Larger sites or upgrades with significant design work are quoted after the audit — always fixed, never hourly.
- Audit (2–3 days) — written report and fixed quote.
- Approval — you decide what to include.
- Implementation (1–3 weeks) — fixes, migration, testing.
- Handover — before/after measurements, walkthrough, optional care plan.
If the site is built somewhere we cannot work, we will say so and point you to the right option. See hosting and care once the work is done.
Before you ask — probably answered here
Not sure whether your site is worth upgrading? Send us the URL — we will give you a straight answer.
DaltSync upgrades start at $750. A full custom rebuild typically runs $1,250 to $5,000+ depending on scope. The audit will tell you which one you actually need — sometimes a $750 upgrade beats a $4,000 rebuild.
Not if it is done properly. Where URLs change, 301 redirects are set up and tested. Where content is preserved, it is preserved. We measure rankings before and after and flag anything unexpected. Ranking loss during a migration is almost always a redirect problem, and it is avoidable.
Yes, and it is most of what we do. We will need admin access to the current site, hosting and domain. If the previous developer is unresponsive, we can work from hosting-level access.
We work primarily with WordPress, static/JavaScript builds, Shopify and Medusa. If you are on Wix, Squarespace or a custom CMS, we will tell you on the call whether an upgrade is viable or whether a rebuild is the more honest answer. If you are on WooCommerce, we will audit and fix it — we just will not rebuild it on the same platform.
Two days for the audit, then one to three weeks for implementation depending on scope.
We measure before and after, and we do not leave a site slower than we found it. We cannot guarantee a specific score because it depends on third-party scripts and hosting outside our control, but we will tell you upfront what is achievable.
